Ruud Verberne has a background in international logistics, shipping and commercial trading and purchasing. Throughout his professional career he has held positions with Messrs. Geytenbeek, Van Oord Werkendam, Ham B.V., Aluminium Hardenberg B.V and the Cooperatieve Vereniging Bloemisterijprodukten Vervoer, respectively as removal coordinator, head of transport, global transport coordinator heavy materials/head of logistics, logistics manager, and managing director.
He has been involved in setting up inter-modal transport services between inland ports, establishing an international transport division for construction material, and setting up a national network for daily distribution of fresh flowers and plants and has project experience in Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, India and Germany.
Currently he works as an independent logistics consultant.
