Rein Denekamp studied economics at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam and business administration at Cedep/Insead, Fontainebleau (France). He occupied several management and board positions at large food and retail companies like Van Nelle, Vandemoortele, Buhrman, Ahrend and Hallmark International. He directed several logistic operations and the outsourcing of warehouse activities and has a strong international orientation. In his daily business as a management consultant, he supports company transformation processes. He is also a part time professor at the University of Derby (United Kingdom), the International Business School in Breda and the Wageningen University and Research Centre (Netherlands), where he is involved in issues regarding entrepreneurship, change management , business development and agri-chain management.
